Commissioner appeals for basic services to rural communities

Yei River County Commissioner appealed to the national and state governments to support plans to deliver basic services to rural communities.
 
Speaking at Rasol Border area, Juma David Augustine, said the community needed clean drinking water, quality education and health facilities, Easter Radio reported.
 
The Commissioner revealed that plans to demarcate the area were underway to upgrade Rasol into a satellite town.
 
Commissioner Juma called on financial institutions to support Rasol’s business community with loans to boost socio-economic viability in the area.
 
Recently the national government endorsed its 2013-2014 budget and prioritized delivery of services to counties, payams and bomas.
