SPLM Elected members for the Southern Sudan Legislative Assembly and the National Legislative Assembly start today in Juba a three-day policy workshop.
The meeting that kicks off this afternoon at Nyakuron Cultural Centre will discuss important policies, strategies and priorities the SPLM and the Government of Southern Sudan plan to implement after its formation.The MPs workshop follows a two-day event for the nine SPLM governor-elects of Southern Sudan, State Chairpersons, Secretaries and deputies at the Southern Sector and State Secretaries that concluded yesterday in Juba.
SPLM Chairman Salva Kiir Mayardit chaired the policy making meeting.
Meanwhile, the SPLM announced in its website that it won 160 of 170 seat for grabs in Southern Sudan Legislative Assembly.
