Yambio County traditional chiefs on Thursday chose their representatives to sit in the council of traditional authorities in the state.
The Chiefs selected Yambio County Paramount Chief Wilson Peni Rikito, Ri-Rangu Payam Chief Richard Andrea Rangu and Pastor Modi Angelo Basha, Anisa Radio reported.
State Director in the Ministry of Local Government and Law Enforcement, Ryembe Benjamin Wani said two representatives will work in the state and the third will go to the national Traditional Authority Council in Juba.
Yambio County Commissioner Kuzee John Elias congratulated the selected representatives urging all chiefs to rally behind them.
He told the representatives to be prepared for challenges ahead of them.
Commissioner Kuzee promised his full support to Council of Traditional Authorities.
