SPLA-N forces in Nuba Mountains of South Kordofan state regained control of Kaliny village in Rashad County from Sudan Armed Forces or SAF after fierce fighting.
SAF took controlled of Kaliny on Wednesday with heavy aerial bombardment and shelling, Voice of Peace reported.
SPLM-N spokesman Arnu Ngatulu Lodi claimed that their forces destroyed one vehicle and inflicted heavy casualties on the SAF.
He said SPLA-N forces will continue to reoccupy many other places.
