Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop on Monday returned home after participating in a five-day conference of the Catholic Bishops of South Sudan in Juba.
Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala said the conference discussed how to establish a branch secretariat of the bishops’ conference in Juba and issues Rumbek, Malakal and Torit dioceses which have no bishops, Anisa Radio reported.
He explained that the conference concluded with a message of Peace and Hope for the people of South Sudan.
The prelate said he invited some humanitarian aid agencies in Juba to take services to the people of Western Equatoria State.
Bishop Hiiboro who is the Chairman of the Catholic Education Commission together with other bishops on Saturday laid a foundation stone of the Catholic University of South Sudan in Juba.
