Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese constructed Child Opportunity Centre in Tombura County.
The Diocesan Administrator Clement Arkangelo Rabbi said the Centre aimed to support children lacking parental care and HIV AIDS victims, Anisa Radio reported.
Mr Rabbi disclosed diocesan plan to bring children from the 19 parishes to the Centre.
He mentioned challenges including inadequate funds, food, medications and school materials.
Mr Rabi thanked CAFOD for funding the construction.
He appreciated efforts of the Centre administrator Sister Bianca Bii.
Child Opportunity Centre is already housing more than 56 children in the Diocese.
