The Yei Bishop of the Episcopal Church of the Sudan or ECS asked Yei municipality to avail land for burial because the current graveyard is full.
Hillary Luwate Adeba said the graveyard was disorderly filled up because people buried at random, Easter Radio reported.
Bishop Luwate said the former Yei government did not say anything on the burial of people in residential areas.
He described burial of people in residential areas as very bad and uncivilized.
Bishop Luwate clarified that many people fear to rent houses with graves in the residential areas.
The ECS prelate revealed that the commissioner took note of his complain and informed him that he submitted to elders and chiefs to consider giving a piece of land for a new cemetery.
