A counselor working with widows, orphans and people living with HIV Aids in Yei Municipality said people coming for test bring blood of their partners in syringes and refuse counseling.
Grace Kadayi said centre officials do not know whether it was human, animal or bird blood brought for HIV testing, Easter Radio reported.
She lamented that many people are refusing to know their status but they are ready to ask for the status of their partners.

Ms Kadayi revealed that some men only bring blood of underage girls for test and they refuse to be tested for the girls to know their status.

Ms Kadayi feared that those who refuse to be tested and only want the partners tested were positive and did not want their partners to know their statuses.
The HIV counselor expressed fear that those chased away from the VTC may put lives of young girls into risk.
