Yei Deputy Mayor banned drivers of public means from parking their vehicles outside the main bus park.
Silvano Ali issued the order following rampant takeover of cars and passengers by brokers leading to loss of revenue, Easter Radio reported.
He observed that the ban would also help to identify and reduce import of illegal items into the municipality.
The Deputy Mayor said violators would be fined and sentenced to imprisonment.
The order directed the municipal administration and organised forces to implement the ban with immediate effect.
