An eye operations camp kicked off on Saturday in Tonj South County of Warrap State.
Eye Doctor Ben Robert said the surgeons operated people with eye cataract who registered within seven days, Don Bosco Radio reported.
Dr Robert said on Saturday and Sunday they operated 54 patients with eye cataracts.
He added that the first people who got eye surgery were very happy because they were seeing again.
Tonj South Commissioner William Wol thanked God for the gift of doctors from Kenya to help people in Greater Tonj.
Mr Wol urged registered people to turn up for the free eye operation.
