Clerics condemns infant abuses

Catholic clerics condemned reports on the rise in the number of abandoned children and their abuses in Western Bahr El Ghazal State.
 
Wau Catholic Bishop Rudolf Deng Majak while deliver a homily to hundreds of faithful at Lokoloko cemetery on the feast of All Souls on Saturday warned Christians against what he called ‘an odd practice’, Voice of Hope reported.
 
Wau Catholic Vicar General Germano Bernado in his Sunday’s homily at Holy Family Church at Nazareth criticized child abandonment.
 
He said there was no need for one to engage in sexual practice if one was to abandon babies.
 
Fr Bernado said children represent rare gift from God and all must take care of this gift.
 
The cleric warned that abandoning babies is a sin which God can never forgive.
