Caritas Germany revealed plans to sponsor programs in agriculture, livelihood, road maintenance and drilling of boreholes.
Caritas administrator Yuhanes Dumbata John said the organization was preparing a proposal for the Germany government to fund humanitarian projects in Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese, Anisa Radio reported.
He said 15 managers underwent a three-week project planning and humanitarian management training to prepare them for the job.
Mr Dumbata added that Caritas wanted to ensure successful management of funds.
Regional Training and Development Advisor Anna Hans Makundi said they would train managers on project implementation, proposal and evaluation.
