Mukaya Payam Association leader asked communities not to rely on donations and government help but to work for themselves.
James Taban said the community should do what they could to improve their situation and leave for well-wishers and government what they were not able to do.
Mr Taban said most communities are relaying on external sources to provide all the services they need.
He added that donors should plan their interventions together with the communities to adapt their plans to the local reality.
Mr Taban said those detailing plans should work together with the communities for the sake of clarity.
