TORIT POLICE ARRESTS TWO STUDENTS OVER ROBBERY ATTEMPT

Police arrested two students of Torit Day Secondary School for an attempted road robbery.

An officer at Torit Central Police station, Michael Okongo, identified the suspects as Dominic Albert and Alfred Lokule, both students of the same school Ð Emmanuel Radio reported.

Mr. Okongo said the two suspects were arrested after they attacked Ochan Julius, a generator operator at a bar in Torit town, on his way to work.

Mr. Ochan told the police that the suspects stopped him and started beating him while demanding money.

He added that his attackers had a panga that they used to threaten him.

Mr. Ochan said he was saved by passersby who came to his rescue.
