Directorates at Western Equatoria Ministry of Physical Infrastructure lack accommodation space, compelling some of them to operate under trees.
Minister Clement Juma Mbugoniwia told CRN that nine directorates of his ministry are in dire need of accommodation.
He said the lack of office space affects effective services, appealing for rescue from the national ministry.
Mr Juma explained that lack of space remains a stumbling block to state affairs, calling for the construction of a state headquarters.
He revealed that all ten counties in the state lacked office structures.
The minister disclosed the plight in Juba during a visit to his national counterpart for the first time since her appointment at the end of July.
