Yei Municipality Mayoress on Friday launched a cleaning campaign.
Oba Cecilia Tito expressed gratefulness upon the exercise urging people to start cleaning homes, shops and offices, Easter Radio reported.
She warned that any failure to clean homes would lead to fines, asking those with cleaning equipment to assist.
Ms Oba said the money obtained through the charges would help develop the Municipality.
A Member of the National Legislative Assembly representing Yei River County Paul Yoane Bonju commended the campaign.
He asked Yei citizens to continue with proper cleaning and maintenance of the environment.
