The Education Coordinator in the ECS Diocese of Juba urged parents and guardians to invest on the education of their children.
Soso Lupai on Saturday said all parents should take education of their children seriously to develop the country, Bakhita Radio reported.
Mr Lupai asked all people to work hard to bring home South Sudanese children studying abroad.
ECS Diocesan secretary Moses Kose Sindani revealed a plan to develop the education sector.
He expressed happiness on the outcome of the South Sudan School Certificate exams results of Juba Model Secondary School.
Pastor Kose said the diocese acquired land and plans to open a mixed boarding secondary school behind Körök Hill along the Juba-Yei road.
Juba Model Secondary School celebrated their performance in South Sudan School Certificate by opening a girls’ boarding dormitory, and awarding prizes to best students.
The school administration and students promised to do better in the next exams.
