A man killed his brother-in-law over a cow skin dispute in the cattle camp in Thiet Payam of Tonj South County, Warrap State.
County Commissioner William Wol said a man identified as Malek was killed by Mabuoc after a simple quarrel on Saturday, Don Bosco Radio reported.
Mr Wol said the incident was under police investigation.
He added that he went to Thiet to advise relatives of the late Malek not to take revenge.
Mr Wol promised to put strong security measures in the county to protect civilians from unnecessary killings.
The County Commissioner advised relatives of the late Malek to be patient and give police a chance to investigate the incident.
