Staff of Emmanuel Radio on Tuesday joined their Director to mourn the death of his mother, Cecilia Aguti who passed away in Chukudum of high blood pressure.
In an editorial meeting on Tuesday morning, the staff observed a moment of silence as a tribute to the deceased mother of Fr Santino Lounoi.
Evelyne Losike a staff of the Radio, advised Fr Lounoi to take courage at such a difficult and sorrowful moment to console the bereaved family.
She said death is natural and affects all but the important part was to pray for the soul of the deceased to rest in eternal peace.
Night Immaculate, another employee of the Radio said ‘today is your family and tomorrow would be another family, let God give you courage.’
Other employees of Emmanuel Radio in solidarity with the director shared the sorrows of the untimely death of his mother.
The late Cecilia Aguti was born in 1957.
