Poverty generates insecurity and youths need to free their minds from negative attitudes towards work.
This is the view the President of Eastern Equatoria State Youth Union Epone Emmanuel Lolimo shared with Emmanuel Radio.
Mr Lolimo said the Youth Union plans to establish farms along the Kidepo Valley and in Magwi Corridor as a long term strategy to eradicate poverty among the youth in the state.
Mr Lolimo said the long term plan will also involve pastoralist communities.
He made these statements during an interview on the future prospects of the Youth Union in Eastern Equatoria.
