Tonj South County Commissioner in Warrap State on Monday urged residents to protect the foreigners in the County.
William Wol said he wanted people of Greater Tonj to protect Darfuri and Ugandans in the county, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He urged people to respect and protect foreigners and work with them as brothers and sisters.
Mr Wol was talking during the funeral of a trader from Darfur killed by a grenade in Tonj main market.
He said he wanted people of Greater Tonj to love one another and work for peace and development.
The County Commissioner urged the residents of Tonj to cooperate with foreigners traders and protect their lives.
