The clans of Goli and Longira of Ombasi Boma in Otogo payam, Yei River County, on Monday defined inter-clan borders to live in harmony.
Demarcation Chairperson Conpijas Luate Amonye led the negotiation to resolve the dispute between the two clans, Easter Radio reported.
He pointed out that the demarcation would deter future conflicts over land.
Mr Luate explained that Goli and Longira clans would continue to coexist and share other issues together because they are children of one grandparent.
He added that the two clans had no conflict before, but Goli clan was not at ease when the Longira defined territory with Ayakaka clan.
Goli clan member Rigund Lugala Lasuba stressed that the two clans demanded to know their boundaries because of government demarcation plans in the area.
