Candidates sitting for Kenya Certificate of Primary Education or KCPE in Nuba Mountains finalized their revisions on Tuesday.
Kumbur Payam Education Supervisor Khalid Karaka Lalu told Voice of Peace that the coaching started on July 15 and ended on October 15.
He revealed that students and teachers faced numerous challenges during the three-month course including inadequate learning materials and food.
Mr Karaka said some candidates were falling sick in August and September due to poor accommodation.
He added that due to insecurity it was not easy and safe for candidates to take examinations within the Nuba Mountains.
Mr Karaka confirmed that the KCPE Exams take place in November, urging candidates to stay around.
