Reconcile International in Yei River County celebrated its tenth anniversary for ‘restoring hope and rebuilding lives’ of communities in South Sudan.
The organization’s board of governors member Isaac Kenyi said they promoted peace in conflict areas including Jonglei, Upper Nile and Nuba Mountains in the last decade, Easter Radio reported.
He explained that Reconcile was training people on good governance, moral authority and inclusiveness.
Pastor John Tubuwa from Jonglei state said Reconcile worked hard in peace building before independence.
He said with skills he acquired in 2010 training, he managed to reconcile many people in conflict zones including Pibor County of Jonglei state.
He urged Reconcile International to continue with its work and put conflict affected areas in South Sudan as a priority so that communities unite.
