Kauda Teachers Training Institute in Nuba Mountains on Thursday celebrated the tenth anniversary of St Daniel Comboni.
Kauda Teachers Training Instituted was named St Daniel Comboni, Voice of Peace reported.
Holy Cross Parish Priest who presided over the Eucharistic celebration said Comboni dedicated all his plans to save Africa.
He added that St Comboni succeeded in his mission because he was prayerful and faithful to God.
Comboni Missionary Sister Rocio Anguinyaga said St Daniel came to Africa to spread the Good News of God’s Love.
She explained that St Comboni’s vision was to educate Africans as the only way to develop Africa.
Heiban County Commissioner Mubarak Bolis Tutu commended Comboni missionaries for their services and perseverance in war situations.
He said St Daniel established spiritual and educational services in Sudan.
The Commissioner said Nubians were denied the chance of education but through Comboni missionaries, they were able to get education.
Comboni Institute is among the recognized institutes with quality education in Sudan.
