A member of parliament in Central Equatorial state on Wednesday called on the government to build more schools to offer quality education to citizens in Yei.

Jacob Aligo Lo Lodu said there are many people in Yei from other states of South Sudan making classes congested, Easter Radio reported.

He added that people from other states have the right to go to Yei for better education, but there was need to increase schools for a conducive learning atmosphere.

The MP stressed that teachers should be given a better pay to deliver quality education.
