The increasing floods in Tonj South County of Warrap State forced six crocodiles and a number of snakes to take over the police office in Thiet Payam.

Public and Political Director Joseph Anei Madoor on Monday in a telephone interview confirmed that six crocodiles and snakes occupied the police office and other places in the Payam headquarters, Don Bosco Radio reported.

He said water is everywhere and the wildlife officers could do nothing to the crocodiles and the snakes in the office.

Mr Madoor explained that water filled all police, wildlife and the Payam headquarters offices.

He disclosed that floods destroyed 900 houses in Thiet Payam alone.

Mr Madoor said the state government was making water channels in the area.
