Yei Catholic Diocese Vicar General on Saturday donated 500 South Sudanese Pounds to prisoners.
Zachariah Angutuwa Sebit said the donation was organized by Young Christians Students or YCS from six secondary schools to support prison service.
He asked prison authorities to care for prisoners and understand their purpose.
Fr Angutuwa explained that prison was a place for correction to change the life of wrong doers and that inmates should not be afraid.
The donation was after Christians visited the prison and concluded with a mass presided by Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe who also confirmed 71 students at Christ the King Cathedral.
