The Nuba Mountains Education Office announced on Thursday reopening of primary schools in the area.
The Acting Education Director-Genera Magbul Karashid told Voice of Peace that the schools reopened on Tuesday October 1.
He stressed that the community supported education project in Nuba Mountains region.
Mr Karashid urged parents to send their children to school instead of looking after animals.
The Acting Director advised all Nuba communities to continue supporting teachers and children in schools.
He said schools hosting primary eight candidates will reopen at the end of coaching in the middle of this month.
