Relief and Rehabilitation Commission County Secretary said they distributed 600 mosquito nets to flood victims’ households in Tonj South County of Warrap State.
Gordon Makuer said the 600 mosquito nets were not enough to all flood affected people, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He said floods destroyed many houses and crops in five Payams and Bomas of Greater Tonj.
Mr Makuer said people of Malual-Mock and Mabior-Yar Bomas were displaced to the road and other people went to Thiet Payam.
He urged state government and NGOs to rescue their situation.
Mr Makuer advised communities to advise their children not to enter into the water to avoid crocodiles and snake bites.
The Commission County Secretary advised parents and guardians to take care of their children because water levels were rising.
