Western Bahr El Ghazal State legal authorities revealed that Wau Central Prison has 65 inmates with different sentenced murder cases.
Justice Botros Yai, a member of the committee sent by Justice Ministry to assess prison conditions told Voice of Hope Radio that the number of inmates reached 309.
He revealed the inmates came from the four states of Greater Bahr El Ghazal.
Justice Yai said 120 suspects are in police custody waiting for trial in the court.
He said the committee consulted with state legal authorities to resolve cases of inmates waiting for final trial.
