Local Government Administrative Officers’ Union in Lakes State strongly condemned harassment, tortur and imprisonment of their colleagues in Yirol West County.
The Union Acting Secretary-General Abraham Majak Makur accused the Commissioner of undermining the officers status according to the Local Government Act 2006, Good News Radio reported.
He pointed out that the Commissioner should be held accountable for humiliating the officers.
Mr Makur said the Union petitioned the State Governor to intervene in the case by forming a committee to investigate into the incident.
