Scott Gration headed an American delegation that met with UNAMID Deputy chied, Henry Anyidoho and other senior officials in el Fasher, North Darfur.
Mr. Gration spoke about the integration of Government, UNAMID, aid agencies, and other stakeholders’ efforts to secure peace and stability in the region.
The American delegation discussed programmes that promote reconciliation, recovery and development, as well as the challenges of their implementation.
Mr. Gration met also with representatives of various humanitarian organizations operating in Darfur, before visiting Solinga, one of the IDP Camps in the region.
