Electronic payroll training kicks off in Lakes State

Lakes State Labour and Human Resource Development ministry on Monday started training payroll managers on electronic system.
 
The Director-General in the Ministry Abraham Makur Mangok told Good News Radio that the ministry wants to change from the old to the electronic payroll system. 
 
He said this was the second phase of the training and that the ministry will monitor all employees in the state including organized forces.
 
The Director-General said the process would minimize ghost and duplicated names.
 
The training facilitator Odon Paul said the training will help in controlling government’s finances.
 
He revealed a plan to train establishment officers and payroll managers to control the pay sheet.
 
The national Government is trying to clear the ghost names on pay sheet.
