A team of 13 medical volunteers from China on Friday arrived in Yei River County to carry out general medical treatment for over two thousand patients.
The County Executive Director Thomas Stephen Kenyi applauded the cordial relationship between China and South Sudan, Easter Radio reported.
He called on the team to extend Chinese help to the County’s infrastructure and other sectors in the future.
The Chinese Economic and Commercial Counsellor Zhang Yi said his government was committed to deliver services to the people of South Sudan at various sectors.
The team is expected to be in Yei County for two days.
