President Kiir tells Lakes youth to stop drinking

The President of the Republic on Wednesday instructed youths in Lakes State to stop taking alcohol and contribute to nation building.
 
Salva Kiir said many youths are interested in government jobs while others resorted to drinking alcohol in the early morning hours, Good News reported.
 
He said the government did not forget youths warning them not to take excuse of unemployment to engage in alcoholism.
 
President Kiir wondered why returnees from Sudan are now lazy in South Sudan yet they built Khartoum skyscrapers.
 
He assured youths that the Minister of Youth Culture and Sports will soon visit states to launch youth programs. 
 
He added that SPLM Youth League will engage youths in beneficial programs.
