Lakes State committee tusked with the screening of 474 names of employees whose salaries were suspended decided to start with students.

The committee chairperson Benjamin Matioc on Monday told Good News Radio that they are mindful of students who are almost entering their exams.

He said as soon as the committee finishes the investigation they will recommend students for payment.

Mr Matioc said some students on the list already resumed their works.

He said the committee was ready to resolve employees’ problem.

Malou Ater, a student at Juba University said the committee was rejecting some release letters.

He expressed fear that students who are innocent in all processes may not be paid.

Early this month the state government suspended salaries of 474 employees due to absence at work places for a long time.
