Ministry of Labour and Public Service on Friday inaugurated new office complex Norwegian government funded to the tune of 250 thousand US dollars equivalent to one million South Sudanese Pounds.
Minister Mr Ngor Kolong Ngor and Norwegian Ambassador Hanne-Marie Kaarstad inaugurated the office that was constructed under Intergovernmental Authority for Development or IGAD.
Ms Kaarstad pledged Norway’s continuous support for South Sudan and the IGAD project.
Minister Ngor thanked Norway for the good gesture, saying the country was a true friend of the people of South Sudan during the war and after independence.
The IGAD Initiative seeks to build South Sudan human resource capacity by bringing in experienced civil servants from Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda to mentor their South Sudanese counterparts.
