Six visiting German investment companies are in South Sudan to assess opportunities in different fields and boost development in the country.
South Sudan Ambassador to German Sitona Abdalla Osman who led the delegation to Juba told the press that the companies were ready to invest in the country, Bakhita Radio reported.
She appreciated government’s collaboration with German investors to create brighter future for the nation.
Ambassador Abdallah also appreciated the German government for showing commitment to offer services to the government and people of South Sudan.
Undersecretary in the ministry of Foreign Affair Charles Manyang welcomed German investors’ initiative saying South Sudan is open for any kind of investment.
He said the government institutions will identify investment areas.
Mr Manyang said the German government implemented water projects in Bor, Rumbek, Yambio and Yei towns.
