Yei Catholic Diocese Youth Desk on Saturday launched a one-day musical festival under the theme ‘keeping the sight of faith fixed on Jesus.’
This was the second festival conducted as part of youths’ activities for the Year of Faith where choir groups presented songs, dramas and poems, Easter Radio reported.
The chief adjudicator Jaka Joyce announced that Angelic choir was the best in singing with 89 points, Blessed choir became the best in drama with 88 points and Comboni choir became the best in poem with 88 points.
Diocesan Youth Chaplain Alex Lodiong said the winners were given trophies and some items.
The festival brought together choir groups from five deferent chapels of Christ the King and St Joseph Lutaya Parishes.
