Vets without Frontiesr are supporting child soldiers who were demobilized by giving them animals to finance their education.
Talking to SCR news, Oluku Andrew Holt, Child Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration coordinator, said Vets without Frontiers started the distribution of goats in Unity State and Northern Bahr-el-Ghazal to children who were freed from the SPLA.Mr. Oluku added that the World Food Programme provides food for the children during the first three months after demobilization.
Mr. Oluku noted that UNICEF had a key hand in providing scholastic materials while other child related organizations supplement in different fields like technical skills.
