Yei River County Agriculture Department reported that it established seven strategies to improve the farming sector.
Edmond Taban Gogo explained that the department planned production strategy, extension delivery services, farmers’ mobilization and making adaptive research, Easter Radio reported.
He added that other strategies include capacity building, establishment of proper marketing and collaboration with line institutions.
Mr Gogo encouraged farmers to continue farming to achieve food security, transform their socio-economic conditions and contribute to national economic growth.
