The humanitarian situations in Abu Korshola, Rashad and Abbassiya localities of South Kordofan continue to worsen due to the ongoing war that displaced thousands of people in Southern Kordofan.
Radio Tamazuj reporter Ameen Ramadan Hammad told Voice of Peace that civilians in those areas were living in miserable situations.
He said majority of the people were living in mountains due to aerial and ground attacks.
Mr Ramadan added that citizens lack food, clean water, health and education services.
He said the situation will worsen in the near future if NGOs do not step in as quickly as possible to provide assistance.
Mr Ramadan said the ongoing war between the government and SPLM-N forces stopped locals from farm activities this year.
