Tombura-Yambio diocese meets CAFOD partners

Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese on Tuesday held a consultative meeting with its CAFOD partners in Yambio, Western Equatoria State.
 
Development and Peace director, James Mabu said they discussed a five-year strategic plan for the diocese beginning next year, Anisa Radio reported.
 
He explained that CAFOD assisted 25 thousand vulnerable internally displaced persons and returnees. drilled 30 boreholes and gave HIV AIDS patients medicines in the last five years in Western Equatoria State.  
 
Mr Mabu He said they discussed how CAFOD will help with other projects like roads and bridges to ease the movement farmers’ products to markets.
 
CAFOD established partnership with Tombura-Yambio Diocese since 1970s.
