Central Equatoria Cabinet Affairs Minister urged parents to support child education in an effort to fight illiteracy in the state particularly and the country in general.
Oba Cecilia Tito on Monday urged parents in Yei to grand all the basic scholastic materials to their children to allow them perform well at school, Easter Radio reported.
She encouraged the female population to join school in order to empower women representation at state and national Governments.
The minister made the statement while opening a new primary school at Kendilah Boma of Morobo County constructed by the Constituency Development Funds.
