Tuberculosis or TB Program Clinical officer in Greater Yei of Central Equatoria State said the disease is increasing in Yei, Lainya and Morobo counties.
Nyoka Agnes told Easter Radio that they admitted 178 patients to the hospital since January.
She added that they are admitting TB patients everyday and that some are suffering at homes because of stigma.
Ms Nyoka said they are now discouraging TB patients’ admission because they have only two nurses who are at risk of contracting the disease.
TB free treatment is drawing people all Greater Yei to the civil hospital.
