Apostolic Administrator urges Christians to reject death forces

Torit Catholic Diocese Apostolic Administrator  urged Christians emulate Mary having courage to reject forces of death.
 
Monsignor Thomas Oliha said Christians were encouraged by the assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into heaven and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
He said death especially of a young person devastate all people.
 
The Apostolic Administrator advised Christians that faith in Jesus Christ through the intercession of Blessed Mary people can defeat death.
 
Monsignor Oliha outlined that forces of death which face Christians on earth include hatred, revenge, social and economic difficulties, injustices and fear.
 
The apostolic Administrator cited killing of a man by unknown attackers between Hiyala and Logurunyu as one of the acts of death forces.
 
He called on the people to refrain from violence, revenge and all forces of death.
 
Monsignor Oliha was preaching on Sunday at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Torit during the Assumption Day celebration.
