The ongoing heavy rains are affecting studies and business operations in Rumbek, Lakes State.
Ager Gum Primary School Headmaster Makur Chol Majok said pupils taught under trees were the most affected people, Good News Radio reported.
He said the school compound was flooded for the last three days and pupils studying under trees were sent home due to limited learning space.
Traders complained that rains stopped their costumers from buying commodities daily.
They said since the rain started costumers turn up was very low and they were losing.
Lakes State witnesses nonstop rainfall for the last four days.
