Analyst urges government, NGOs to give youths loans

An analyst urged the national Government and private sectors to give loans to youths to create jobs to avoid the white collar job seeking syndrome.
 
Juba University lecturer in the College of Social and Economic Studies Venansio Tombe Muludiang said South Sudanese youth will continue to be jobs seekers and not become job creators without having money in their hands.
 
He said when youth have their businesses they would employing their fellow youth and a number of citizens.
 
Professor Muludiang said youth are stranded because they graduated and have no jobs to earn a living and consequently depend on civil service employment.
 
He noted that basic school dropouts are more successful than the university graduates and secondary school leavers all over the country.
 
Professor Muludiang analyzed that youths with higher educational qualifications are extremely selective while looking for jobs.
 
The Professor said South Sudanese youths are not lazy but need support from all institutions in the country.
