A woman leader criticized parents in South Sudan for not valuing girls’ education.
Administration and Finance Director-General in the National Bureau of Statistics Labanya Margaret told CRN that statistics indicate that girls are lagging behind in education all over the country.
She lamented on the case of Lafon among the Pari community where girls’ education is not valued.
Ms Margret arguing that educating a girl is educating the whole nation.
The Director-General said if all parents value girls’ education, the future of South Sudan would be brighter.
She was talking during the launch of South Sudan Info on Friday in Juba.
